Base Salary
$165k - $224k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deliver, and operate secure, reliable, and scalable customer features and internal operational improvements.
- Build highly available, large-scale services supporting SaaS application streaming and virtual desktop delivery.
- Participate in code, design, and documentation reviews while maintaining high quality standards.
- Develop deep understanding of the system, service, customer usage patterns, and workflows.
- Participate in the on-call rotation and directly engage with customers and stakeholders to resolve tickets and issues.
- Collaborate across team boundaries, drive process improvements, and help deliver team projects.
- Mentor and serve as a role model for junior engineers.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- At least 1 year designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, or services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- At least 1 year of object-oriented design experience.
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: 3 or more years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
