Base Salary
$144k - $224k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain APIs and interface software connecting Leo capabilities to US Government customers.
- Use network topology and Software Defined Networking or network operations experience to develop interfaces meeting customer needs.
- Demonstrate interfaces and architectures in a simulated test environment.
- Solve complex technical problems for government satellite and ground applications.
- Coordinate with internal and vendor teams to deliver software and interface requirements.
- Ensure systems meet availability, reliability, upgradeability, interoperability, performance, and security requirements.
- Communicate project health, risks, issues, visualizations, and results to stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.
- Escalate urgent issues and drive them to resolution.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- 1+ year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- 1+ year of experience developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- 1+ year of Object Oriented Design experience.
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: 3+ years covering the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Preferred: 3+ years of Software Defined Networking or network operations experience.
- The selected candidate must be a US Citizen.
