Base Salary
$166k - $258k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure systems meet operational-excellence standards.
- Mentor engineers on Site Reliability Engineering best practices.
- Lead the design and implementation of reliability and operational-excellence projects.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues affecting reliability and scalability.
- Develop and refine tools and automation to improve system performance and operational efficiency.
- Participate in on-call rotations for critical issues and incidents.
- Improve processes and reduce manual work through automation.
- Maintain documentation for systems and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of software engineering experience focused on site reliability or infrastructure.
- Proficiency with Kubernetes and containerization technologies.
- Experience with Java, Go, or Python.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Strong networking experience and understanding of network protocols.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
