Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable, secure full-stack solutions using React, TypeScript, Node.js, and AWS services.
- Define API contracts and implement Backend-for-Frontend and data integration layers aggregating multiple domain services.
- Build reusable frontend components and shared modules within a micro-frontend platform shell.
- Design cloud-native architectures using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, Step Functions, SQS/SNS, ECS, and CloudWatch.
- Lead architectural design, technical planning, code reviews, performance optimization, and system reliability efforts.
- Develop authentication, session-aware interfaces, role-based rendering, token handling, caching, and responsive user experiences.
- Own automated end-to-end and UI testing frameworks and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Embed monitoring, telemetry, observability, operational readiness, scalability, security, and availability into platform components.
- Mentor engineers, communicate technical decisions, document solutions, and collaborate with product, security, operations, QA, and domain teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing, building, and supporting scalable cloud-native full-stack applications.
- 3+ years of experience building modern frontend applications with TypeScript and React.
- Strong backend experience with Node.js, preferably using TypeScript, including API and data integration development.
- Deep experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, SNS, SQS, S3, Step Functions, EC2, ECS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, and DynamoDB.
- Experience with Backstage, GitHub Actions, Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK or CloudFormation, and microservices architecture.
- Experience integrating multiple independent backend or domain services into a single user interface.
- Experience building responsive, secure, high-performance interfaces with React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Familiarity with micro-frontend architectures such as Module Federation and shared shell/component patterns.
- Experience with automated end-to-end and UI testing and CI/CD pipeline integration.
- Preferred qualifications include Grafana or CloudWatch dashboard experience, Apache Flink or similar stream processing, and familiarity with ML/AI lifecycle concepts.
- Strong communication, collaboration, mentoring, prioritization, and execution skills are required.
