Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python and FastAPI.
- Build high-performance APIs for internal applications.
- Work with NoSQL databases, especially MongoDB.
- Design and optimize big-data processing pipelines and large-scale data transformations using Apache Spark.
- Work with distributed computing environments such as private cloud clusters.
- Collaborate with data, frontend, and business teams.
- Manage code versioning using GitHub.
- Contribute to software architecture design and optimize system performance and reliability.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Python and hands-on experience with FastAPI.
- Experience with NoSQL databases, especially MongoDB.
- Strong experience with big-data systems and large-scale datasets.
- Proven ability to optimize data transformations, particularly with Apache Spark.
- Experience with distributed computing environments such as private cloud clusters.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as GitHub.
- Experience building APIs and understanding backend architectures and microservices.
- High proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with Neo4j, Microsoft Azure, Elasticsearch, PyTorch, TensorFlow, AI or machine learning, LLM integrations, and data pipelines or analytics systems.
