Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality services and UIs.
- Collaborate with team members to evolve services architecture.
- Create robust RESTful APIs and integrate with external services.
- Work with SQL and NoSQL databases to design efficient data models.
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks in services.
- Use AI tooling to optimize system building and maintenance.
- Write unit and integration tests and participate in code reviews.
- Investigate and resolve production issues to ensure system availability.
- Stay updated with industry trends in backend development and cloud technologies.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a backend developer focused on services development.
- Strong experience with Node.js.
- Experience designing and maintaining distributed microservices architectures.
- Operational ownership mindset for monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Experience with high-traffic systems with strict availability requirements.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform or other cloud platforms.
- Experience using AI tools for development optimization.
- Familiarity with event-driven and asynchronous architectures.
- Experience with messaging and streaming technologies like Kafka.
- Strong understanding of system scalability and performance optimization.
- Experience with Angular and/or React front-end frameworks.
- Ability to work independently and deliver results in short timelines.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
