Responsibilities
- Lead the technical direction for predictive maintenance and anomaly detection across MaintainX products.
- Design end-to-end ML systems from data ingestion to model training and deployment.
- Mentor a growing team of ML and data developers, instilling best practices in experimentation and model lifecycle management.
- Collaborate with product and development leads to align AI roadmaps with customer needs and business goals.
- Design reliable data feedback loops connecting customer telemetry and operator feedback to model retraining.
- Optimize performance using techniques like quantization and scalable inference services.
- Work with LLM frameworks to create reasoning systems and workflows for asset intelligence.
Requirements
- Over 7 years of experience in machine learning, data science, or applied AI.
- Expertise in Python and proficiency in PyTorch, TensorFlow, and cloud ML stacks (AWS, Databricks, etc.).
- Proven experience in deploying large-scale production ML systems, not just prototypes.
- Strong background in LLM, time series modeling, and anomaly detection for real-world data.
- Demonstrated ability to lead architectural decisions and mentor developers.
- Familiarity with MLOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Weights & Biases, MLflow, SageMaker).
- Preferred advanced degree (master's/PhD) in computer science, machine learning, or a related field.
