Responsibilities
- Architect and lead the planning, design, and development of new software solutions.
- Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to translate requirements into software designs.
- Develop and integrate UI and API solutions and support merging codebases across project streams.
- Define coding standards, contribute to technical innovations, and ensure adherence to architectural standards.
- Design scalable, secure, and maintainable software and troubleshoot distributed systems handling complex transactions.
- Mentor software development team members and promote software development best practices.
- Perform testing, implementation, and other assigned duties while complying with company policies and standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Typically 8+ years of hands-on object-oriented programming experience.
- Experience with JavaScript UI development using Angular or ReactJS and familiarity with Python.
- Experience with microservice architecture, end-to-end UI/API integration, and REST, gRPC, and GraphQL API protocols.
- Experience designing scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions and establishing coding best practices.
- Knowledge of caching technologies, DBMS technologies, and database schema design, including Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
- Experience building or maintaining cloud-native applications and large-scale platforms with real-time complex transactions.
- Experience troubleshooting distributed systems and strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience with AWS core services, AWS Lambda, Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus.
