Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance B2B software products using the Microsoft .NET stack.
- Build and maintain backend services and APIs, and participate in architecture discussions, technology evaluations, and system and code reviews.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and user stories with product managers, designers, and QA.
- Take technical ownership of production systems and support root cause analysis, reliability, uptime, and performance optimization.
- Drive unit, integration, performance, and test-first development practices.
- Contribute to platform refactoring, modernization, build pipelines, observability, and deployment automation.
- Collaborate with global Product, Engineering, DevOps, Data, QA, Architecture, and Engineering Operations teams.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, secure development practices, information security policies, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in .NET software development with C# and ASP.NET Core.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented design, microservices architecture, and REST or GraphQL API development.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including technologies such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB, and MongoDB, plus Redis or similar caching tools.
- Advanced understanding of cloud-native architectures, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices, preferably using GCP.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Scrum or Kanban, story estimation, code reviews, and pair programming.
- Experience working in distributed or remote teams and using Jira, GitHub, Miro, and Azure DevOps.
- Understanding of performance optimization, secure development practices, and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, GDPR, and SOC 2.
- Fluency in English and Spanish, along with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Preferred experience includes global multicultural organizations, domain-driven design, event-driven architecture, and observability tools such as Sentry and Lighthouse.
