Responsibilities
- Build and maintain assigned software solutions.
- Troubleshoot customer-reported issues.
- Contribute to planning through analysis and estimation of proposed product work.
- Monitor the health and ongoing work of core platforms and services.
- Coordinate with analysts, infrastructure, support, Product, Data Science, SRE, Platform, and other dependent teams when issues or dependencies arise.
- Monitor platform changes and related risks and participate in architecture, implementation, and technical trade-off discussions.
- Check support and operational channels for issues requiring attention.
- Document technical decisions and operational procedures.
- Participate in knowledge sharing and continuous improvement efforts.
- Provide support to other teams.
Requirements
- Expertise in Python programming.
- Strong knowledge of Databricks, Airflow, PostgreSQL, databases, Snowflake, Kafka, CI/CD, and GitHub repositories.
- Good understanding of AWS and infrastructure.
- Ability to monitor platform health, coordinate across teams, and evaluate platform-related risks.
- Ability to contribute to architecture, implementation, technical trade-off, documentation, and operational discussions.
