Responsibilities
- Improve the development and build process.
- Design and develop scalable, reliable, secure enterprise systems using Java, messaging, microservices, and search integrations.
- Implement backend applications and microservices that satisfy requirements and service level agreements.
- Write OAuth authentication, validation, logging, auditing, and secure coding mechanisms.
- Develop REST APIs and SOAP and gRPC web servers and clients using Java and Spring.
- Create unit and integration tests.
- Assist with system deployment and configuration and set up CI/CD pipelines.
- Use Git and pull request workflows while producing technical documentation.
- Estimate requested work and participate in Scrum procedures and disciplines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of nine years of relevant professional experience.
- At least six years of professional experience using object-oriented programming and SOLID principles with Java 11 or higher and common Java frameworks including Spring and Spring Boot.
- At least two years of professional experience with a JavaScript front-end framework such as Vue.js, jQuery, React, or Angular2.
- Working knowledge of Java 11+, Eclipse or IntelliJ, Maven, and Git.
- Experience with REST APIs, Spring MVC, Postman, SOAP, gRPC, and microservices.
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, Spring Data, Hibernate, NoSQL and graph databases, and Elasticsearch.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, ActiveMQ, TFS/Azure DevOps, and CI/CD systems.
- Knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, JSP, Vue.js, React, Angular2, Apache Camel, and Spring Integration.
- Knowledge of enterprise integration methodologies, patterns, and diagrams.
- Knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, Agile software development, and working effectively in international and multilingual teams.
- Working knowledge of English at B2 level or higher and ability to adapt to changing application-development technologies.
