Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java microservices using Spring Boot.
- Build and manage enterprise APIs using Apigee X.
- Develop and support event-driven architecture using Confluent Kafka.
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, and engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions.
- Develop secure, high-performing, and resilient applications.
- Design, optimize, and maintain PostgreSQL databases.
- Use GitHub for source control, code reviews, and CI/CD processes.
- Integrate applications with Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, and Cloud APIs.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.
- Contribute to architecture design, performance tuning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Explore Python and Neo4j to enhance platform capabilities.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in Java application development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java microservices and Spring Boot.
- Experience with Apigee X API Management and Confluent Kafka.
- Knowledge of event-driven architecture and PostgreSQL databases.
- Experience with GitHub and CI/CD practices.
- Working knowledge of Python and experience with Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, and Cloud APIs.
- Exposure to Neo4j is preferred.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field.
- Willingness and ability to continue expanding expertise in cloud-native technologies, distributed systems, and modern software engineering practices.
- Preferred certifications include Google Cloud, Oracle Java, Confluent Kafka, Spring Professional, and API Management certifications.
