Base Salary
$221k - $299k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive customer, business, and technology outcomes by accelerating engineering velocity.
- Solve cross-cutting technical problems involving complex dependencies and unclear definitions.
- Lead architectural design for major product or system changes.
- Build production AI solutions using commoditized AI and AI-Native Principles.
- Use evaluation tools to validate and measure AI solution accuracy and ship AI features to production.
- Evaluate and integrate transformative technologies.
- Define coding principles, engineering standards, and testing strategies.
- Drive adoption of best practices and tooling across multiple teams.
- Provide engineers beyond the immediate team with feedback and architectural guidance.
- Partner with Architecture, Product, Operations, and other groups on cross-functional design.
Requirements
- 8+ years developing systems and software for large business environments.
- 5+ years designing complex distributed systems, platforms, or business applications.
- Hands-on experience integrating AI into production software, preferably leading standalone AI projects with commoditized AI tools and agentic workflows.
- Experience using AI evaluation tools and shipping AI features to production.
- Full-stack experience with modern AI/ML platforms, LLM APIs, agent orchestration frameworks, vector databases, and Python.
- Depth in at least one front-end area—React, Angular, SwiftUI, or Kotlin—or back-end area—Java, TypeScript, Spring, or Node.js.
- Production experience with AWS or GCP.
- BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field.
- Ability to drive velocity in a matrixed environment with numerous stakeholders.
- Strong mentoring and communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to drive results across cross-functional, globally distributed teams.
