Base Salary
$124k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, code, and troubleshoot secure, stable, and scalable software components.
- Write and maintain high-quality Python code with limited guidance in a large corporate environment.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation tools for coding, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation.
- Validate AI-generated outputs through peer review, automated testing, secure coding standards, and responsible AI practices.
- Consider upstream and downstream systems and technical implications when implementing solutions.
- Analyze large and diverse datasets to identify problems and support decision-making.
- Apply software development lifecycle processes, technical troubleshooting, and operational stability practices.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 2+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining Python code in a large corporate environment.
- Experience with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages.
- Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and critically evaluating their outputs.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle.
- Exposure to agile methodologies, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
- Preferred: experience building data pipelines using Spark.
