Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Leverage AI tools to enhance development workflow and productivity.
- Build and maintain features across the full stack, including Android, backend services, and frontend applications.
- Contribute to backend RESTful services and understand their integration with other platform components.
- Participate in frontend development for internal tools and customer-facing applications.
- Write automated tests and maintain high standards for code quality.
- Participate in code reviews to improve skills and the codebase.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA engineers to deliver features.
- Complete onboarding codelabs to build foundational knowledge of Toast's systems.
- Learn deployment processes, CI/CD pipelines, and feature flag management.
- Document work clearly in Jira and Confluence.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Foundational knowledge of at least one backend language such as Kotlin, Java, or Python.
- Exposure to frontend web development technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and system communication.
- Familiarity with relational or NoSQL databases.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Strong communication skills and eagerness to learn.
- Comfort working in an agile team environment.
