Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, development, and delivery of advanced financial technology and payments solutions.
- Translate complex business needs into technical designs and oversee implementation across the full software development lifecycle.
- Own critical systems, resolve high-impact defects and performance issues, and provide technical on-call support.
- Define and enforce coding standards, testing protocols, automation strategies, and software engineering best practices across teams.
- Lead scalable and secure software architecture decisions and provide technical direction to engineers.
- Drive performance improvements, conduct code reviews, and improve quality, scalability, and time-to-market.
- Lead UI/UX enhancements and use user feedback to improve user experiences.
- Advise engineering, product, business, and senior leadership stakeholders and align technical priorities with business strategy.
- Mentor and coach engineers at all levels and lead enterprise-wide engineering initiatives.
- Guide the adoption of emerging technologies and maintain multiple mission-critical applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
- 10–13 years of related experience in software development, including full-stack, frontend, backend, and UI/UX engineering.
- Deep expertise in at least three programming languages.
- Preferred: 13–15 years of related experience across full-stack, frontend, backend, and UI/UX engineering.
- Preferred experience with Agentic AI, RAG, and generative AI.
- Experience with JavaScript, Java, Python, React.js, Angular, Microsoft Azure Functions, Microsoft Azure SQL, AWS, and DevOps.
- Experience with full-stack development, cloud environments, software architecture, and enterprise software delivery.
- Ability to provide technical leadership, mentorship, stakeholder collaboration, and architectural ownership.
