Responsibilities
- Drive the design, development, and delivery of advanced financial technology solutions.
- Translate complex business needs into technical designs and oversee implementation across the software development lifecycle.
- Lead scalable, secure, and high-performance software architecture decisions and own critical systems.
- Define and enforce coding standards, testing protocols, automation strategies, and software engineering best practices.
- Analyze and resolve defects, performance bottlenecks, systemic inefficiencies, and high-impact incidents.
- Lead UI/UX enhancements and use user feedback to improve product experiences.
- Provide technical direction, code reviews, on-call support, and guidance to engineering teams.
- Advise engineering, product, business, and senior leadership stakeholders on technical strategy.
- Mentor and coach engineers and lead enterprise-wide technology initiatives.
- Guide adoption of emerging technologies across financial technology, payments systems, and cloud environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
- 10–13 years of experience in software development, including full-stack, frontend, backend, and UI/UX engineering.
- Deep expertise in at least three programming languages.
- Experience leading software architecture, development lifecycle delivery, performance optimization, and mission-critical applications.
- Preferred: 13–15 years of related experience.
- Preferred: experience with agentic AI, RAG, and generative AI.
- Experience with JavaScript, Microsoft Azure Functions, Microsoft Azure SQL, Java, AWS, React.js, Angular, and Python.
