Responsibilities
- Work within customer systems to build production applications with Claude models that meet customer requirements.
- Deliver production technical artifacts such as MCP servers, sub-agents, and agent skills.
- Provide hands-on deployment support for Anthropic products in enterprise environments.
- Identify and codify repeatable deployment patterns and share insights with Product and Engineering.
- Maintain knowledge of LLM capabilities, implementation patterns, and AI product development stacks.
- Build long-term customer relationships and identify new AI deployment opportunities throughout engagements.
- Travel 25–50% to customer sites and represent Anthropic’s mission in the field.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in a technical, customer-facing role such as Forward Deployed Engineer, or as a Software Engineer with consulting experience; former technical founders are also encouraged to apply.
- Native French speaker with fluent English proficiency.
- Production experience with LLMs, including advanced prompt engineering, agent development, evaluation frameworks, and deployment at scale.
- Strong programming skills with proficiency in Python and ideally one or more additional languages such as TypeScript or Java.
- Experience shipping production applications.
- Ability to operate autonomously and navigate ambiguity in complex organizations.
- Strong cross-organizational collaboration, communication, and customer discovery skills.
- Passion for advancing safe and beneficial AI systems through creative technical applications.
- Experience in financial services, healthcare/life sciences, another enterprise vertical, enterprise IT systems, or AI deployment patterns is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience in a relevant field.
