Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI/ML pipelines for real-world pharmaceutical and life sciences problems.
- Partner with domain consultants to translate client requirements into tailored AI solutions.
- Lead data ingestion, feature engineering, and model development across structured and unstructured data sources.
- Build and deploy scalable AI services and LLM-based copilots for field force, medical science liaison, and commercial analytics teams.
- Implement GenAI and agentic AI frameworks for commercial automation.
- Conduct technical reviews and mentor junior AI team members.
- Collaborate with DevOps and cloud teams to deploy models on AWS and Azure.
- Present technical concepts and outcomes to internal stakeholders and client teams.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in AI/ML engineering.
- Proficiency in Python, NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch or TensorFlow, LangChain, and Hugging Face.
- Experience building and deploying machine learning models in production.
- Strong understanding of MLOps tools and practices, including MLflow, Docker, Git, and CI/CD.
- Exposure to LLMs, transformers, and retrieval-augmented generation techniques.
- Experience with cloud environments, preferably AWS, Azure, and Databricks.
- Excellent communication skills for explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
