Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain enterprise OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms across on-premises and hybrid environments.
- Develop infrastructure automation using Go, Python, Ansible, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Build and maintain Kubernetes Operators, APIs, integrations, and self-service platform capabilities.
- Implement and manage GitOps deployment workflows using Argo CD and Tekton.
- Improve platform reliability, scalability, and resilience through automated monitoring, alerting, and recovery mechanisms.
- Build observability solutions using Dynatrace, Prometheus, and centralized logging platforms.
- Support containerized and virtualized workloads using OpenShift Virtualization.
- Collaborate with architects, application teams, and platform stakeholders to improve developer experience and platform adoption.
- Contribute to engineering standards, code quality, automation best practices, and technical mentoring.
Requirements
- 6-10 years of experience in Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or Infrastructure Automation.
- Strong hands-on experience with OpenShift Container Platform and Kubernetes, including designing, deploying, upgrading, and automating clusters.
- Proficiency in software development using Go or Python.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles, software engineering practices, distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native architectures.
- Experience with GitOps tools such as Argo CD.
- Experience with CI/CD platforms such as Tekton, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent.
- Hands-on experience in API development and system integrations.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code practices, YAML, and Ansible.
- Preferred experience includes developing Kubernetes Operators, using OpenShift Virtualization, working with Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK, and enabling self-service capabilities in private or hybrid clouds.
