Responsibilities
- Partner with Account Executives during pre-sales cycles to uncover technical and operational pain points related to asset management and maintenance support.
- Lead technical discovery with prospects regarding ERP, CMMS, EAM, and other enterprise systems that must connect to MaintainX.
- Create integration scope documents, data-flow diagrams, and effort estimates for post-sales implementation handoffs.
- Build and maintain reusable integration patterns, pre-built assets, and reference architectures.
- Assess integration feasibility and complexity during deal reviews and pricing discussions, proactively flagging risk to Sales leadership.
- Collaborate with the post-sales Integrations team to improve scoping templates and communicate upcoming pipeline.
- Deliver live demos and proof-of-concept integrations when required.
- Work with Product, Engineering, and Legal to advocate for prospect needs, accelerate deals, and refine value messaging.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in client-facing Solutions Engineering, Pre-Sales, Technical Consulting, or a similar role.
- Deep familiarity with REST APIs, webhooks, OAuth, and modern integration patterns.
- Extensive hands-on knowledge of APIs, data flows, and systems architecture across engineering teams and business stakeholders.
- Experience with iPaaS platforms such as Workato, Boomi, MuleSoft, Zapier, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with SaaS delivery models, including onboarding, post-sale deployment, and customer success workflows.
- Experience with enterprise systems such as ERP or EAM systems, including SAP, Oracle, IBM Maximo, or Infor.
- Ability to scope technical work and translate it into effort estimates.
