Responsibilities
- Build and improve data integration pipelines for POS, access control, environmental, labor, and emerging data sources.
- Design and evolve scalable architecture and standardized integration frameworks.
- Develop robust internal-facing and customer-facing features across the stack, with approximately 80% backend and 20% frontend work.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data requirements into technical solutions.
- Automate, simplify, and streamline integration workflows.
- Apply engineering best practices to help the team scale and champion continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Strong full-stack development experience with deep backend expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js.
- Working knowledge of React or similar frontend frameworks.
- Experience using cloud platforms, ideally AWS, including AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, and Redis.
- Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines or integrations at scale.
- Experience helping organizations scale and redesigning existing solutions for greater scalability.
- Ability to adapt quickly, learn new technology stacks, work in unfamiliar domains, and solve problems from first principles.
- Demonstrated resilience, ownership, and commitment to continued professional growth.
- Nice-to-have experience with PostgreSQL and Snowflake, diverse data sources, developer documentation and tooling, or AI productivity tools.
- Must be a Canadian citizen or eligible to work in Canada, complete a criminal records check, and comply with Solink security policies.
