Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer

Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable, resilient applications using Java, Angular, Python, and SQL.
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams and drive software development best practices, including code quality, testing, and continuous integration and deployment.
- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the evolution of technology platforms.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal technology and risk-management controls.
- Support integration of AI and emerging technologies to improve client and employee experiences.
- Promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- More than five years of progressive engineering experience, including leadership of multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong computer science fundamentals, problem-solving, troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience building distributed, high-performance, and highly available systems.
- Hands-on experience with Core Java, J2EE, PL/SQL, and Python.
- Fundamental understanding of RDBMS and database design applications.
- Experience with RESTful web services, Tomcat, Apache, and Unix scripting is preferred.
- Experience working in finance is preferred.
