Base Salary
$145k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain the diagnostic framework embedded in robotics software.
- Contribute to the diagnostic data schema for efficient reporting of fault codes and event logs.
- Develop embedded diagnostic tests to identify hardware issues and sensor anomalies.
- Collaborate with the Infrastructure team to build a data pipeline for diagnostic data.
- Generate clear and contextualized reports summarizing the state of the robot.
Requirements
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in developing diagnostics for complex electro-mechanical devices.
- Proficiency in software development, particularly in Rust or C++ for embedded environments.
- Experience with data structuring and ingestion pipelines.
- Understanding of robotics hardware failure modes and technical triaging skills.
- Familiarity with interpreting hardware schematics and low-level system logs.
