Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate backend systems for capturing and processing product and customer signals.
- Develop reliable data pipelines and infrastructure for translating raw signals into insights and product improvements.
- Work on high-traffic, low-latency services with strict privacy and data-handling requirements.
- Collaborate with data science, research, product, and infrastructure teams to enhance product quality.
- Support model and product feedback loops through signal capture and analytical tooling.
- Operate with high ownership in a small, agile team.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional backend engineering experience in high-scale environments.
- Strong fundamentals in backend engineering, including distributed systems and API services.
- Experience with data pipelines, event systems, and large-scale data processing.
- Comfort working near data science, statistics, or ML workflows.
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments.
- High agency and strong execution velocity, with versatility across multiple technical domains.
