Base Salary

$120k - $261k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Drive technical architecture and implementation of browser-based security solutions and Security, Identity, and Management integrations.
  • Partner with Microsoft Security and Compliance teams to build integrated security experiences across the Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Contribute to the long-term technical strategy and roadmap for enterprise security capabilities in Microsoft Edge.
  • Lead cross-organizational engineering initiatives spanning multiple Microsoft products and services.
  • Mentor engineers through technical guidance, design reviews, and engineering best practices.
  • Use telemetry, customer feedback, and operational insights to improve product quality and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 4+ years of technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred: master’s degree and 6+ years of experience, or bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience, or equivalent experience.
  • Coding experience in languages including C++, JavaScript, C, C#, Python, or Java.
  • Cross-platform development experience.
  • Experience contributing to a large-scale software engineering project.
  • Design, coding, and debugging skills in modern programming languages.

Benefits

  • The typical U.S. base pay range is $119,800-$234,700 per year, with a separate range for specified San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan area locations.
  • For employees within the specified commuting distance of a designated office, the role generally expects at least four days per week in the office starting January 26, 2026, subject to local law and jurisdiction.
  • Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
