Responsibilities
- Provide commercial and technical support to the DeltaV SaaS SCADA business development team and Emerson Impact Partner network.
- Collaborate with clients to support adoption of new technologies and understand their business and technical challenges.
- Prepare, review, and approve scopes of work, network architectures, bills of materials, budgetary proposals, and binding commercial agreements.
- Demonstrate the DeltaV SaaS SCADA Cloud Platform to existing and prospective clients.
- Serve as a subject matter expert to support solution development and software training.
- Develop remote monitoring solutions tailored to customer requirements.
- Implement and oversee pilot projects using software tools for data collection, validation, and visualization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, or a related field, preferably with an electrical, computer, mechanical, or petroleum concentration.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience.
- At least 2 years of technical sales experience.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%.
- Preferred experience with cloud-based platforms, SCADA, automation systems, and field instrumentation.
- Preferred knowledge of communication protocols for flow computers, RTUs, and PLCs, including industry-standard and custom programs.
- Preferred experience with Ethernet, radio, cellular, and satellite communication.
- Preferred knowledge of oil and gas production operations, artificial lift, and facility design.
- Proficiency with Microsoft operating systems and program suites.
- Excellent presentation and technical writing skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
