Responsibilities

  • Design and implement web dashboards and end-to-end workflows that turn engineering data into actionable insights.
  • Build and operate data pipelines that ingest, transform, validate, and publish analytics datasets, including integrations with Databricks.
  • Develop secure, scalable backend services and REST APIs supporting metric consumption and user interfaces.
  • Define and validate metrics, conduct exploratory, cohort, trend, and anomaly analysis, and communicate findings through dashboard narratives.
  • Partner with engineering teams, leaders, and stakeholders to establish performance benchmarks and metrics strategy.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, secure coding practices, and code reviews.
  • Deploy and operate services on cloud and container platforms with a focus on reliability, scalability, and operational excellence.
  • Use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, troubleshooting, refactoring, and documentation while validating outputs through review and testing.

Requirements

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with advanced applied experience.
  • Full-stack experience building dashboards and web experiences across frontend, back-of-frontend, and backend integration.
  • Experience with SQL databases, analytical data stores, data warehouses, and query optimization at scale.
  • Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and code review practices.
  • Ability to develop and validate metrics, perform exploratory and trend analysis, detect anomalies, and create clear visual narratives.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder partnership skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input/output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and the ability to critically evaluate generated outputs.
  • Preferred experience with React and TypeScript for performant, accessible, data-rich dashboards and visualizations.
  • Preferred backend and REST API experience covering authentication, authorization, versioning, error handling, and performance optimization.
  • Preferred experience deploying services on AWS, Kubernetes, or equivalent cloud and container platforms.
  • Preferred Databricks integration experience, including layered bronze/silver/gold data products, data contracts, and quality controls.
  • Preferred experience with AWS services, PostgreSQL, Terraform, engineering productivity metrics, developer experience programs, or data visualization and UX design.
