Base Salary

$114k - $171k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Systems Engineering, Cloud & Application, Test Automation, DevSecOps, and Systems Test teams in a software development environment.
  • Participate in prototyping, graphical user interface design, implementation, integration, testing, and build/release activities.
  • Develop enterprise solutions using Java Enterprise Edition in a service-oriented architecture environment.
  • Apply object-oriented programming, design patterns, JMS, web services, XML, XPath, XSLT, and XSD.
  • Work across the full software development lifecycle and collaborate regularly with team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline and 5 years of related engineering experience, or a master’s degree in a STEM discipline and 3 years of related engineering experience.
  • Experience with the full software development lifecycle, Agile software development, software integration, and testing.
  • Experience with Java, C, C++, and Python.
  • Experience with at least two of Jira, GitLab, Docker, Fortify, Coverity, or Black Duck.
  • Active U.S. Government Top Secret clearance with a background investigation within the past five years or enrollment in Continuous Evaluation.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain initial and subsequent Special Access Program access through Program Access Requests.
  • Preferred: experience documenting, capturing, and presenting software architectural components using modeling or diagramming tools, and current applicable Special Access Program access.
