Responsibilities

Design and develop efficient, scalable, and user-friendly software solutions using the .NET framework.
Monitor, update, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize Energy Management applications.
Implement enhancements, integrate software with existing systems and databases, and protect data integrity and accessibility.
Document system updates, modifications, and best practices for knowledge continuity.
Ensure applications follow OTI compliance standards and data-security best practices.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, external consultants, and vendors.
Use user feedback to improve applications and provide training and support to business teams.

A baccalaureate degree including or supplemented by 24 semester credits in computer science or a related computer field and two years of qualifying full-time software experience, including one year as a project leader or major contributor on a complex project.
Alternatively, a four-year high school diploma or equivalent and six years of qualifying full-time software experience, including one year as a project leader or major contributor on a complex project.
A satisfactory combination of education and experience may substitute for the stated pathways; college credits and a master's degree may substitute for specified experience.

Experience in computer operations, technical support, quality assurance, hardware installation, help desk, or end-user work does not satisfy the minimum qualifications.
Applicants must be permanently serving in the Computer Specialist Software title or reachable on the Computer Specialist Software civil service exam, with eligibility also available through the 55-a Program for qualified persons with disabilities.
