Responsibilities

Lead the design and delivery of innovative features extending Auth0’s identity platform.
Own strategic technical quality, security, reliability, and scalability, and drive architectural improvements.
Identify architectural gaps and advocate for long-term improvements across Core Identity.
Collaborate with Product, Security, Design, Architecture, QA, and global engineering teams.
Set technical standards and engineering culture as a founding Staff member of the Bengaluru team.
Mentor engineers and contribute to technical excellence and continuous improvement.
Participate in an on-call rotation for critical services.

8+ years of professional software development experience or equivalent.
Proficiency designing and building services with Node.js, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
Experience creating and maintaining public and secure APIs and front ends.
Experience designing, building, and operating distributed systems in a cloud environment such as AWS or Azure.
Experience with testing strategies including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
Track record of driving technical alignment across multiple teams and mentoring senior-level individual contributors.
Product-oriented mindset and ability to collaborate on customer-focused solutions.
Preferred: experience in Identity and Access Management and knowledge of security engineering principles and application security best practices.
