Responsibilities
- Oversee technology development solutions across new and existing applications, systems architecture, data infrastructure and warehouses, and infrastructure.
- Review system requirements and business processes, design and implement solutions using solution-architecture patterns, and provide application maintenance and support.
- Partner with business teams on fund management, order management, investment compliance, operations, and trading workflows.
- Collaborate with architects, product managers, end users, and internal or external teams on solution design, testing, and implementation.
- Work with Charles River IMS front-office modules and investment-management workflows across equity, fixed-income, and derivative asset classes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- At least 10 years of progressive experience in IT positions.
- At least six years of experience developing technology solutions through new and existing applications.
- Experience with Charles River IMS front-office modules, including Manager Workbench, Blotters, Workflow rules, Reports, Imports, Extracts, Privileging, Data Schema, Market Data, Middle Tiers, API, and Plugins.
- Experience in the investment-management industry with front-office systems and workflows.
- Experience working with a trading desk and equity, fixed-income, and derivative asset classes.
- Experience using solution-architecture design patterns and Python, SQL, Excel, and BI tools.
