Responsibilities
- Develop test automation in step with feature development using AI tools and functional and performance testing frameworks.
- Use large language models to create feature test plans and internal knowledge bases supporting AI-assisted automation and testing.
- Define AI workflows that enable developers to run existing automated tests, evaluate failures, and resolve environment issues.
- Execute functional and performance tests using on-demand disposable environments, multiple service versions and configurations, and customized database content.
- Customize, configure, troubleshoot, and deploy infrastructure and code changes through production.
- Analyze logs, automate production issue resolution, and reproduce problems in non-production environments.
- Collaborate with the QA platform team on feature-validation and test-automation solutions.
Requirements
- Develop test automation in Java using Selenium WebDriver and/or Playwright, with IDEs such as IntelliJ or Eclipse.
- Experience deploying services across environments such as Kubernetes using deployment tools including ArgoCD and Jenkins.
- Ability to improve existing test infrastructure using Docker, Playwright, and headless browser execution.
- Knowledge of log aggregators such as SumoLogic or Kibana and application-monitoring tools such as Honeycomb or Grafana.
- Passion for test automation and delivering high-quality features in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work according to Agile methodology.
- English proficiency is required for interaction with Upgrade staff internationally.
