Responsibilities

  • Design and develop maintainable, scalable full-stack software solutions for the Umbrella LMS.
  • Create database schemas, AWS Lambda functions, user interfaces, and external integrations supporting millions of associates.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide meaningful feedback to maintain high-quality coding standards.
  • Architect solutions that balance technical requirements, business needs, compliance, and operational impact.
  • Contribute to scoping, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance of mission-critical training systems.
  • Identify and resolve operational root causes while improving monitoring systems and technical documentation.
  • Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical collaboration.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 2+ years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
  • Preferred: 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
