Base Salary
$129k - $152k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and deploy scalable AI services and computational imaging pipelines to production.
- Contribute to system architecture and make trade-offs balancing performance, security, and maintainability.
- Own complex features through architectural planning, API design, implementation, and post-release observability.
- Improve service availability, alerting, logging, dashboards, runbooks, and incident response.
- Implement testing and validation strategies supporting the Quality Management System and regulatory standards.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor engineers, document designs, and support cross-training across AI and engineering teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5–8 years of software engineering experience with production AI systems using Python and PyTorch.
- Experience with SQL, Postgres, NoSQL, Redis or similar data services.
- Demonstrable ability to design, implement, and secure RESTful web services.
- Experience with MLOps orchestration and cloud deployment using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with AWS, GitHub, and continuous integration pipelines.
- Proven track record delivering scalable production systems and designing for observability, reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
- Preferred experience with end-to-end medical imaging pipelines, HIPAA/HITRUST security requirements, computer vision, and deep learning for medical image processing.
