Base Salary
$54k - $235k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with engineers, program managers, domain specialists, and clients to design, build, and support client-facing applications.
- Gather requirements, analyze data and workflows, and define delivery roadmaps from prototype through scaled deployment.
- Build, validate, and rapidly iterate on prototypes based on user feedback and operational results.
- Develop and deploy production-grade data pipelines and applications that support operational workflows and decision-making.
- Write requirements, design notes, runbooks, and other documentation for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Communicate progress, tradeoffs, and recommendations to technical teams, clients, and executive stakeholders.
- Embed with customer teams and own delivery outcomes from problem definition through release.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of hands-on data engineering experience, including ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehousing, and large-scale data integration.
- At least 3 years of experience working with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- At least 3 years of experience with Python, PySpark, or Java.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent qualification; alternatively, 12 years of work experience, or an associate degree with at least 6 years of work experience.
- Ability to solve ambiguous problems, design end-to-end solutions, work independently, and take ownership of results.
- Strong client-facing communication skills, including explaining technical concepts and presenting recommendations to executives.
- Preferred qualifications include full-stack or frontend development, Palantir Foundry, Gotham, or AIP certifications, consulting or client-facing experience, DevOps or CI/CD pipeline experience, large-language-model solution experience, and TypeScript or JavaScript proficiency.
