Responsibilities
- Develop and improve backend systems through greenfield development and enhancement of existing systems.
- Build REST APIs and microservices for card payments, treasury management, transaction booking, crypto liquidity, and other core business systems.
- Design and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing systems using Java, Spring Boot, and PostgreSQL.
- Develop maintainable business logic using clean code practices and support rapid delivery through TDD, DDD, and continuous integration and delivery.
Requirements
- Demonstrable backend development experience and fluency in Java.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or another engineering or science discipline.
- Strong learning ability, ambition, results orientation, and excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Track record of building complex products used by millions of people in hypergrowth startups.
