Responsibilities
- Build ads products across bidding and targeting, ranking and auction, serving, campaign management, and seller tooling.
- Design, build, and operate highly scalable advertising systems.
- Analyze data, logging, and system behavior to evaluate performance, correctness, and impact.
- Own problems end to end and ship high-quality products quickly.
- Understand buyer and seller experiences and help sellers scale their businesses through ads products.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience building and shipping backend systems in production environments.
- Strong experience designing, building, and operating scalable, maintainable backend services.
- Strong technical judgment and the ability to balance speed, quality, reliability, and maintainability.
- Experience working in fast-moving, cross-functional product or platform environments.
- Ability to own ambiguous problem spaces and turn them into technical plans and shipped outcomes.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across engineering, product, design, and data.
- Product-minded approach to engineering and focus on creating value for users and partner teams.
