Responsibilities
- Design and build Finance-specific AI integration, retrieval, knowledge, workflow, and orchestration systems.
- Integrate AI systems with NetSuite, Adaptive Planning, FloQast, AWS, internal data warehouses, and other enterprise platforms.
- Build AI-powered financial quality, reconciliation, validation, review, evaluation, and auditability systems.
- Develop operational intelligence and automation for cost monitoring, vendor analysis, compliance monitoring, trend analysis, alerting, and root-cause analysis.
- Build AI-powered market, earnings, strategic intelligence, executive preparation, and board preparation workflows.
- Automate recurring Finance processes such as reporting commentary, flash reports, KPI summaries, forecasting analysis, model validation, and executive memo drafting.
- Own AI agents and workflows end-to-end from discovery and prototyping through production deployment, monitoring, and iteration.
- Establish regression testing, quality scorecards, operational review processes, and feedback loops for AI systems.
- Train Finance subject-matter experts and help them evaluate, configure, and operate AI workflows over time.
- Partner with Finance, Accounting, IT, Security and Compliance, Data and Engineering, Business Systems, and Enterprise AI teams.
- Contribute reusable architecture, governance, security, and operational patterns for responsible enterprise AI adoption.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building and deploying software, data, automation, or AI-powered applications.
- 2+ years of recent hands-on experience building LLM-based or AI-enabled systems in production environments.
- Strong experience with retrieval systems, orchestration patterns, tool usage, evaluation frameworks, and multi-step reasoning systems.
- Strong Python proficiency and experience building production-quality backend services, APIs, integrations, and automation workflows.
- Experience integrating enterprise systems and operational data into AI-enabled workflows.
- Experience with enterprise business systems and structured and unstructured enterprise data environments.
- Experience designing retrieval or contextual knowledge systems across large document and metric corpora.
- Understanding of operational monitoring, evaluation, and observability for AI systems.
- Ability to partner with non-technical teams, translate workflows into scalable technical solutions, and enable business users through training and documentation.
- Comfort operating in ambiguous 0-to-1 environments with strong ownership, prioritization, and judgment.
- Awareness of governance, security, compliance, human review, evaluation, and auditability for enterprise AI.
- Preferred experience applying AI to Finance, Accounting, FP&A, Procurement, Revenue Operations, or other operational business workflows.
- Preferred experience with NetSuite, Adaptive Planning, FloQast, Workday, enterprise data warehouses, LangChain, LangSmith, AWS, or Bedrock.
- Prior embedded, Forward Deployed, Solutions, or customer-facing engineering experience is preferred.
