Responsibilities
- Design and deliver agentic workflows using Google ADK and Vertex AI with enterprise tool-calling and fallback or escalation paths.
- Build and operate RAG-enabled chatbot and conversational capabilities using Vertex AI Search, Data Stores, and Dialogflow where applicable.
- Own production-grade architecture, Python implementation, testing, code reviews, monitoring, runbooks, and operational handover.
- Establish LLM evaluation and quality gates using RAGAS, golden datasets, and regression suites, and improve quality based on metrics and feedback.
- Collaborate with technology, product, operations, and risk stakeholders to align scope, manage dependencies, and meet governance, security, and regulatory expectations.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud GenAI, Vertex AI, and Google ADK, including agent orchestration, tool-calling, and safety patterns.
- Proven production experience with RAG systems, including retrieval tuning, embeddings, chunking, grounding, and citations, plus conversational applications such as chatbots and agents.
- Excellent Python software engineering experience, with working TypeScript and JavaScript skills and knowledge of API design, testing, performance, and maintainability.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code and delivery automation using Terraform on GCP and GitHub Actions.
- Security and compliance awareness for regulated environments, including PII handling, auditability, access control, and prompt-injection or data-leakage mitigations.
