Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end architecture design for large-scale Application Development & Maintenance and Application Managed Services programs.
- Translate client requirements, IT landscapes, and business objectives into high- and low-level solution architectures and design artefacts.
- Define architecture components, reusable patterns, and technology choices while addressing security, data residency, compliance, and public sector constraints.
- Advise government stakeholders through workshops, whiteboarding sessions, presentations, and technical solutioning discussions.
- Support pre-sales and bid activities, including proposals, RFI/RFP responses, solution estimation, and technical win themes.
- Guide delivery teams through build, testing, and deployment and provide design assurance and technical governance.
- Contribute to design reviews, architecture review boards, reusable frameworks, and public sector architecture playbooks.
Requirements
- Typically 10–15+ years of experience in IT solutioning and architecture, including substantial experience as a Solution Architect or equivalent technical leader.
- Experience designing and delivering large-scale ADM/AMS solutions, ideally for public sector or government agency clients.
- Strong understanding of the Singapore public sector technology landscape or the ability to build that understanding quickly.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture, Java, .NET, data platforms, ERP, and major cloud platforms.
- Working knowledge of TOGAF or equivalent architecture frameworks and open standards.
- Experience contributing to pre-sales, proposals, or bid responses is preferred.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to engage technical and CXO-level audiences.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent demonstrable experience.
- Relevant certifications such as TOGAF or cloud architecture certifications are advantageous.
