Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive test plans and convert them into high-quality test cases.
- Build and enhance functional and non-functional test automation frameworks.
- Perform manual and automated API and UI testing.
- Automate and execute complex tests that simulate customer environments and workloads.
- Collaborate with developers and customer-facing stakeholders to understand designs and implementations.
- Support regression teams and maintain the stability of existing automation suites.
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
- Measure product quality across functionality, scalability, high availability, and usability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- 5+ years of enterprise software QA and test automation experience.
- Software development or test automation experience with Python, Java, C++, or Go; Python is preferred.
- Strong fundamentals in Linux operating systems, object-oriented programming, algorithms, data structures, and problem-solving.
- Working knowledge of compute, storage, and network virtualization, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Ability to debug complex distributed applications.
- Experience with API and UI test automation.
- Experience using AI-assisted tools for coding, analysis, and debugging, including prompt engineering for productivity.
