Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain server-side components for online and mobile applications.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs for frontend services and third-party integrations.
- Manage SQL and NoSQL databases and optimize data storage, retrieval, and manipulation.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to maintain responsive API performance.
- Implement security and data protection best practices and support industry compliance.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, QA, and other stakeholders.
- Write unit and integration tests, participate in code reviews, and resolve bugs.
- Suggest improvements to development processes and application architecture.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of backend development experience with Node.js.
- Proficiency in Node.js and Express.js.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with AWS services and cloud architecture, including EC2, S3, and RDS.
- Docker knowledge is a plus.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, debugging, communication, teamwork, and attention-to-detail skills.
