Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce Field Service Lightning solutions using Lightning Web Components, Apex classes, triggers, workflows, Process Builder flows, and integrations.
- Configure and customize Field Service Lightning scheduling, dispatching, optimization, mobile workflows, work orders, and offline capabilities.
- Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce Field Service Lightning and external systems using REST and SOAP APIs and middleware.
- Gather requirements from business stakeholders, analyze processes, and translate them into technical specifications.
- Participate in code reviews, apply coding standards, troubleshoot technical issues, and maintain technical documentation.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and participate in Agile/Scrum development processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology, or a master's degree in Software Engineering; the posting also lists B.E., B.Tech, or MCA as minimum qualifications.
- Relevant Salesforce development experience with a strong focus on Field Service Lightning is required.
- Extensive experience with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and other Salesforce development tools is required.
- Deep understanding of Salesforce Field Service Lightning architecture, data model, and functionality is required.
- Experience with Salesforce Field Service Lightning mobile customization, offline capabilities, REST and SOAP APIs, and external-system integrations is required.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, Agile/Scrum, problem-solving, analytical skills, communication, and collaboration is required.
- Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I/II or Field Service Lightning Consultant are highly desirable.
- Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CI/CD and DevOps practices, Apex Unit Tests, or Jest is preferred.
- English proficiency at C2 level is required.
