
Salesforce Software Engineer - Integration Engineering SMTS
InformaticaResponsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable, secure full-stack applications.
- Onboard customers by integrating their data sources with internal platforms.
- Build and maintain Salesforce, API, enterprise-system, and MuleSoft integrations.
- Write and review code across frontend, backend, and database layers while maintaining engineering standards.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement preventative measures.
- Contribute to architecture, tools, processes, deployment practices, and technical decision-making.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, business users, and engineering teams to define and deliver solutions.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and evaluate emerging technologies and frameworks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 6+ years of software development experience, including at least 4 years in a full-stack role.
- Proficiency in Salesforce configuration and security, including permission sets, external credentials, and field-level security.
- Experience with Salesforce application and flow management, including Salesforce 360 application management, flow integration, and custom actions.
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting API authentication mechanisms, especially OAuth 2.0 and Bearer token authorization flows.
- Experience designing dynamic API calls with parameterized query parameters based on upstream workflow data.
- Strong backend development skills with Java and Spring Boot, Python and Django, or Node.js.
- Familiarity with Slack APIs and integration patterns.
- Hands-on experience building custom REST API integrations with enterprise systems such as Snowflake and Workday.
- Experience with MuleSoft for enterprise API, connector, or middleware development.
- Experience with relational or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
- Understanding of cloud platforms including Heroku, AWS, and GCP.
- Experience managing Salesforce deployments using Salesforce CLI/DX and Git repositories.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and agile development methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Preferred experience with Salesforce development using Apex, Visualforce, Agentforce, Lightning Components, SOQL, or SOSL.
- Preferred familiarity with Salesforce APIs, modern frontend frameworks, MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, enterprise integration patterns, and leadership or mentorship.
