Responsibilities
- Build responsive, high-quality interfaces using React and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Develop features for EventMobi’s Progressive Web App and support reliable experiences across devices and network conditions.
- Implement features from defined requirements while collaborating with product managers, designers, and senior engineers.
- Balance user experience, performance, and technical constraints.
- Contribute to a shared codebase, established front-end patterns, architecture discussions, and system improvements.
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions and continuously improve code quality.
- Use AI-assisted tools such as Claude and Codex for debugging, testing, implementation, and productivity.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience building user-facing web applications.
- 2+ years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
- Strong understanding of modern HTML, CSS, and front-end fundamentals.
- Experience working with APIs and integrating backend services.
- Ability to debug issues and work within existing codebases.
- Familiarity with unit and end-to-end testing.
- Clear written communication skills for an async-first environment.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with state management or data-fetching libraries such as React Query, performance optimization, scalable front-end patterns, CI/CD workflows, cloud environments, or mobile and cross-platform development.
