Responsibilities
- Design and develop secure, scalable software solutions based on technical requirements and design artifacts.
- Build backend services and responsive user interfaces using Java, Spring, and modern frontend frameworks.
- Develop usable UIs, creative visualizations, and customer-focused application features with Product Owners.
- Participate in architectural discussions, iteration planning, feature sizing, and Agile ceremonies.
- Provide support during System and User Acceptance Testing.
- Develop data-processing and analytics solutions using Databricks, Spark, ETL pipelines, and Delta Lake.
- Integrate AI/ML services and APIs into applications and use AI-assisted development tools where appropriate.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience in full-stack Java application development and support.
- Hands-on experience with Java 8 or higher, Spring Framework 5 or above, Spring Boot, and Spring REST APIs.
- Experience developing RESTful web services and writing optimized SQL queries for relational databases such as Oracle or SQL Server.
- Experience with React or Angular for responsive frontend development.
- Experience with CI/CD and automation tools such as Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, SonarQube, or Chef.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP for application deployment, monitoring, and scaling.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, cloud-native and microservices architecture.
- Hands-on experience or exposure to Databricks, Spark-based data processing, ETL pipelines, or Delta Lake.
- Exposure to AI/ML concepts, AI-powered development tools, and integrating AI/ML services or APIs; AI model development skills are preferred.
- Familiarity with Tomcat, Apache, STS, Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA, and Visual Studio Code.
- Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and experience with Agile Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
- Strong technical problem-solving skills and experience working in global, cross-functional teams.
