Base Salary
$152k - $209k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with the sales team to help customers understand Databricks solutions.
- Provide technical leadership for customer evaluations and adoptions of Databricks.
- Consult on big data architecture and implement proof of concepts for strategic projects.
- Build and present reference architectures and demo applications for customers.
- Promote Databricks open-source projects across developer communities.
- Travel to customer locations within your region.
Requirements
- 5+ years in a customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, or consulting role.
- Experience designing and architecting distributed data systems.
- Proficient in programming and debugging in Python, Scala, Java, SQL, or R.
- Experience supporting Public Sector clients.
- Experience building solutions with public cloud providers like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Expertise in data engineering, data warehousing, or data science technologies.
- [Desired] Degree in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science or Applied Mathematics.
- Secret security clearance or willingness to obtain one.
