Senior Cloud Application Developer
Bristol Myers SquibbResponsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of Generative AI applications using prompt engineering, fine-tuning, RAG, and LLM workflow orchestration.
- Own technical roadmaps, architecture decisions, and delivery for enterprise GenAI projects.
- Evaluate and integrate cloud-native AI services and open-source models.
- Build reusable components, APIs, internal developer tools, microservices, and serverless applications for LLM-powered workflows.
- Collaborate with data scientists, MLOps, platform engineers, data engineers, AI/ML specialists, and product owners.
- Build and optimize cloud data pipelines, ETL processes, and machine learning models.
- Champion model observability, governance, ethical AI, security, reliability, and performance practices.
- Conduct code and design reviews, lead agile ceremonies, troubleshoot technical issues, and communicate strategies and risks to stakeholders.
- Mentor junior developers, software engineers, and AI practitioners.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of development experience focused on cloud computing.
- Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud platforms and their compute, storage, networking, and security services.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Node.js.
- Experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, and CloudFormation.
- Knowledge of cloud architecture patterns, best practices, and security principles.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.
- Familiarity with Apache NiFi, AWS Glue, or Apache Airflow is preferred.
- Experience leading continuous-improvement initiatives or implementing new technologies.
- Ability to work independently, solve complex problems, manage multiple priorities, and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
