Responsibilities
- Assess and redesign operational processes to determine whether deterministic automation, agentic AI, or a combination is appropriate.
- Design and deploy event-driven, threshold-based intelligence systems that replace manual reporting.
- Build AI-generated narrative, push communication, feedback-loop, and automated notification systems for operational workflows.
- Integrate LLM capabilities with semantic data models to enable natural-language interrogation of data.
- Develop prompt frameworks, evaluation approaches, reliability controls, and guardrails for AI outputs.
- Deliver scalable, reusable reference implementations and define patterns for AI-enabled systems.
- Partner with data experts, operations owners, business leaders, and non-technical stakeholders to identify opportunities and drive adoption.
- Guide and mentor team members in designing and operating AI-enabled systems.
- Contribute to technical direction by evaluating emerging AI and automation practices.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience designing and deploying production-grade AI-powered systems in operational workflows, including agentic workflows, orchestration, context engineering, evaluation, and reliability.
- Strong understanding of data foundations, including preparing data for AI use and working with semantic models and structured pipelines.
- Experience integrating AI and LLM capabilities with semantic layers, data warehouses, APIs, or other structured data sources.
- Ability to design systems end-to-end from data signal through AI reasoning to user-facing output.
- Experience assessing business processes and identifying opportunities for AI, automation, or process redesign.
- Experience with event-driven architectures and trigger-based or real-time processing systems.
- Experience designing context-aware AI systems, including retrieval-augmented generation using structured business metadata.
- Strong documentation practices and an interest in mentoring and enabling others.
