Responsibilities
- Design and develop full-stack software solutions using modern engineering approaches and patterns.
- Build and integrate LLM-based services, AI-driven capabilities, orchestration, and workflow integrations.
- Develop and maintain scalable, resilient, and secure cloud-native microservices and REST or streaming APIs.
- Implement solutions using Java, Spring Boot, Python, AWS Lambda, Camunda, AWS ECS, and PostgreSQL.
- Automate recurring operational issues and improve system stability and observability through logs, metrics, and tracing.
- Collaborate within a Scrum/Agile team and participate in team ceremonies.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, troubleshooting, refactoring, and documentation while validating generated outputs.
- Apply responsible AI practices, including secure handling of data, inputs, and outputs.
- Contribute to software development lifecycle automation, secure coding, resiliency, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 3 years of applied experience.
- Strong Java full-stack development and application development experience in production environments.
- Experience with system design fundamentals, microservices patterns, API development, and distributed systems.
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Proficiency with relational or NoSQL data technologies and common observability practices.
- Familiarity with LLMs and generative AI concepts, including RAG, tool or prompt orchestration, guardrails, and evaluation.
- Working knowledge of Python for AI or ML integrations.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, CI/CD practices, multi-region deployments, and zero-downtime release strategies.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle practices, application resiliency, security, and agile methodologies.
- Experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and critically evaluating AI-generated outputs.
- Strong communication, ownership, proactive continuous-improvement, and product-delivery skills.
- Preferred: cloud certification in AWS, GCP, or Azure.
